Photography by Andrew Brooks for the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011

Advocate Art’s Andrew Brooks has done some fabulous new landscape photography for the BBC’s Philharmonic Orchestra. Andrew’s art is also exhibited in the Advocate Gallery. He has written a short statement below explaining his new work. To see more of Andrew’s work on the Advocate website click here.

“For this project I had the privilege of working with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra to make a unique set of images for their next concert season.

Working in collaboration with Manchester based Raw Design Studio, we created a set of posters to reflect the themes, ideas and emotions of the different concerts.

This project gave me the chance to listen to some truly beautiful music, then find  ways of reflecting this through my landscape photography. I wanted to capture  some of the awe and wonder that you feel when listening.”"
