Andrea Haase member of Advocate-Art illustration Agency has been featured in Photo Plus magazine. Here is a little expert from the Article:

“My shots have been licensed worldwide through the British agency Advocate Art and appear on a huge range of products. It’s very rewarding to see my work being sold in so many different formats, and has really proved to me that the commercial possibilities of the photography are endless. As much of my work  is licensed for use as large wall art, like large canvas prints and high-quality calendars,  I need a a camera that can deliver very high-reseloution pictures. I use a canon 5D Mark 2, and absolutely love it!

I love flowers, and although I like making arrangements of floral together with other natural objects or interesting finds from fle-markets, I find it very rewarding to keep the focus only on the flower. I try to capture the character of the subject I am photographing, as is the case here, with the purity and elegance of the hyacinths.

Althought a lot of my work focuses on the natural world, I arrange my compositions inside. But while I have a well-equipped studio with professional lighting, most of the time i arrange my objects close to a windowm so they are shot in diffused natural light. This was taken under such conditions, with a canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, set to 1/5 sec at f/8 ISO100 to give enough depth of field as I was shooting so close.

Besides flowers, I also love putting together interesting compositions of shells, leaves, driftwood and other natural objects. I find it fascinating to discover the intricate details of a snail shell, or piece of driftwood”
