Since the day he was born, Daniel has been hidden away form the outside world. Yet Daniel cannot understand what she has tried to protect him from so desperately. Torn from his home, Daniel begins to piece together the chilling legacy of vicious cruelty and fiendish spite that has gripped his family for years.
She did it! She ran the Marathon!
Wednesday, April 18th, 2012This week we are celebrating a fantastic achievement in the Advocate office. Despite having an injured leg our very own agent Hannah ran the Brighton Marathon!!! Read on to see what she has to say about it…
I completed the 26.2 miles in just over 6 hours, I have an injured knee so had to walk about 6 miles but despite this it was still one of the best experiences ever! My legs are still aching now… Don’t think I’ll be doing one again but definitely inspired to keep running shorter races.
We think it is amazing that Hannah managed to complete such a long race, especially with an injury. She is raising money for the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and we want to help her achieve her fund raising goals as much as we can. So please visit her charity page, if you would like to make a donation, by clicking here
Below are two pictures of Hannah in the race and at the end. Check out the medal! (a man even tried to buy it off of her!) The post it note was a good luck doodle by designer Dean.
Well done Hannah. We are all very proud of you!

Alfie Vernon Biography
Tuesday, April 17th, 2012Advocate Art would like to introduce to you one of our new artists, Alfie Vernon. His eye catching repeat patterns would be perfect for greetings cards and other print products. Read on to learn more about Alfie or to see more of his work visit our website by clicking here.
Alfie was born in Notting Hill in 1987 in the Summer of Love, now residing in sunny Brighton, in a regency flat overlooking the sea.
His work desk is placed so he can see the sailing boats and clouds rolling by.
As a child Alfie rebelled against equations and Algebra, and concentrated on the fine arts of painting and electric guitars .
His drawings , inspired by impressionists, surrealists and pop artists ended up on cards, stationery posters and tee shirts, in the shops and on passers –by… if they weren’t quick enough.
Alfie sits at his desk as the waves crash in, listening to post rock , Art Punk, Electro and Indie Folk, while his cat ‘Chairman Meow’ follows the seagulls every move.
Alfie’s obsession with music has led to collaborations with some major bands in the UK and USA…with trips to NYC and LA meeting merch teams , studying graphic trends and print techniques, which is a serious obsession.
