The Talent Rachel Green Biography

Rachel Green grew up in a small market town in Suffolk, where she enjoyed spending most of her time climbing trees and making dens. Whilst not in the great outdoors she could be found in the corner of the kitchen with her scissors, crayons, paper and glue  – slowly covering the walls with her characters and creations.

Rachel’s continued love of drawing and the written word eventually led her to study Illustration at Falmouth College of Art, from which she graduated with a first class honours degree in 2007. Rachel is now a professional freelance illustrator represented by Advocate Art Illustration Agency.

Rachel still enjoys making a mess to this day, using a combination of drawing, paint and collage which she then manipulates digitally to create her delicate, whimsical illustrations. Clients include The Guardian Weekend Magazine, Amelia’s Magazine, Magpie Magazine, Portfolio 5 and Oh Comely Magazine and she has exhibited in Falmouth, London and Bath.

Rachel currently resides in South East London with her husband Jonathan, where she still dreams of living in a tree house one day.
